Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage training is now available in Canada with the Canadian Institute of Ashiatsu Massage Therapy (CIAMT)! Our training has been modified in order to fall within the scope of practice and be in accordance with each standard of practice we are required to uphold as a Registered Massage Therapist in Ontario. We have also taken steps to ensure that Category A CEUs are available to RMTs who take our courses.

We offer certification upon completion of the course requirements (exam and case studies), which allows for RMTs to add Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage Therapy to their list of insured RMT modalities and services. Training fees are very reasonable, averaging about $200 per 8 hour day. Classes are small- maximum 8 therapists- which allows for several teaching methodologies and ensures quality and safety of instruction and preserves the integrity of this modality.
